Perfect score: Gorman Golf Day raises funds for homeless youth

VIC

Gorman Commercial Charity Golf Day raised $35,000 for PIF to distribute to the Chatterbox Street Outreach Program.  The day was made possible by a wide range of sponsors (link to poster) who all contributed to the result.

The Chatterbox Street Outreach Program is an after-hours assertive outreach program that works with young people aged between 12 -25, who are homeless, at-risk of homelessness and/or engaging in risk-taking behaviour.

It provides a variety of services to young people, from intensive and ongoing case management to brief interventions. The program is able to assess the needs of young people, and link them to the services they require. Additionally, the program provides food, clothing and health supplies.

We thank Gorman Commercial and their event sponsors for their generous donations and we look forward to our continuing partnership.
