Industry insight on diversity, $1,000 for PIF - sponsored by Multiplex
June 2019 QLD
Food for thought at the recent PCA Diversity Lunch, sponsored by Multiplex, with the panel discussion covering diversity and industry growth. The event also raised $1,000 for PIF. Our QLD Chair Greg Clarke comments on why this is an important annual event for the industry. Read more.
Panel speakers at the lunch were Raynuha Sinnathamby, Managing Director, Springfield Land Corp, and Ming Long, Chair, AMP Capital Funds Management and Deputy Chair, Diversity Council Australia.
PIF QLD Chair Greg Clarke was at the lunch and said this annual event was important because diversity is a crucial and growing part of the industry.
“We’re a stronger industry when we are inclusive of the experience and skills of people from a diverse range of cultural and economic backgrounds,” he said.
“PIF’s own work building homes for homeless youth is part of that inclusiveness, because we are providing away for the industry to connect with young people facing difficult social and economic challenges. I encourage everyone to get involved in creating solutions.”
