Industry gets involved in Hard Hat Campaign
This year the Property Industry Foundation ran its annual National Hard Hat Campaign, once again raising money and awareness for homeless and at risk young people. The funds from this campaign will go directly into our PIF House program, designed specifically to purchase land, build homes and take homeless young people off the streets.
On Saturday the 16th September the Foundation in Queensland supported Urbane Homes as they opened the brand new Verona Estate Park in Redbank Plains. As part of the Park opening, the Foundation ran a BBQ and raised over $600. Hutchinson Builders also extended the Foundation the opportunity to host a site BBQ on Friday the 20th October, at the spectacular Brisbane Skytower, raising over $700.
"It’s with the generosity of the Property Industry that the Foundation can continue to raise these crucial funds to help rebuild young lives", Queensland Chairman Brian McGuckin said.
A special thank you to Professional Caliber Security who helped put together both of these successful BBQ’s, as well as Urbane Homes and Hutchinson Builders for hosting the Foundation at their respective venues.
