Goldengrove in sync with PIF on building homes for those in need

QLD

When Goldengrove became a Platinum Corporate donor of PIF in 2018 it represented a common interest between the organisations: both involved in building for those in need. In addition to Goldengrove’s land development and building operations for individual clients, it is also involved in the supply of social housing to the Department of Housing & Public Works.

Recently, Goldengrove hosted a Golf Day on 23 May at the Glades Golf Course at Robina near the Gold Coast to raise funds to build more homes for homeless youth.  The event raised $3,000 from raffles, auctions and donations made by attendees. In addition, the Goldengrove management team will match the $3, 000 raised to bring the donations up over $6,000 from the day.

Goldengrove General Manager Andrew Hadden said the company believes that PIF occupies a unique position in the industry.

“PIF’s work as an aggregator and a conduit between those who produce housing (the industry) and those who need it is extremely valuable, “ he said. “Our goal is to aid PIF in its mission, however possible.

“We believe we are well placed to help the PIF gain more traction, given our business has grown and evolved on the basis of our reputation for delivery,” he said. “We are hopeful that we can translate the enormous amounts of goodwill and intent – into meaningful actions and tangible, deliverable outcomes.”
