Colliers International Luncheon - makes a tangible difference in rebuilding young lives

QLD

At the annual Colliers International Charity Luncheon at Blackbird on 15 March, over 200 guests had the honour of listening to four-time Olympic champion speed skater Steven Bradbury – whilst at the same time, raising funds for the Foundation.

Brian McGuckin, QLD Chair, Property Industry Foundation, thanked Colliers International for supporting the Foundation through the event.

“It’s through this fantastic support from Colliers International that we are able to do more to help at-risk and homeless young people,” he said

Simon Beirne, State Chief Executive of Queensland, Colliers International said, “the Brisbane and Gold Coast offices are heavily involved in PIF initiatives which aimed to make a tangible difference to the serious and persistent problem of youth homelessness”.

“Colliers International prides itself on our community care involvements,” Mr Beirne said.

The funds raised from the luncheon will go towards the building of two new PIF houses in Queensland, which are due to start construction later this year.
