Hampers a stepping stone through the tough times
December 2018 NSW
This week, Christine (Youth Worker) and Libby (Case Manager) from Charity Partner Stepping Stone House picked up toiletries hampers from us to forward to young people in real need. Our CEO Kate Mills presented some of the hampers.
Stepping Stone House owns and runs PIF House Dulwich Hill.
Christine said the toiletries would be used as welcome packs for young people moving into PIF House Dulwich Hill and those transitioning to independent living who need some assistance to make ends meet.
"It can come to a choice between paying uni fees and eating," she said. "That's why these hampers are so valuable. They help young people get through the tough times."
