Generous crowd at Property Council of Australia Sydney Christmas Lunch raises $42,000

NSW

At the Property Council of Australia’s NSW Christmas lunch at the Westin Hotel in Sydney, the industry showed its great generosity, purchasing $42,000 in raffle tickets to help us make two PIF Houses, PIF House Parkview and PIF House Orange, inviting and energising spaces for young people to work and study. The prize was five nights at the Park Hyatt Resort in the Maldives.

PIF House Parkview is a 6-bedroom house in Macarthur Heights, in South west Sydney, with construction funded by Parkview Group, to be owned and run by Aboriginal foster care provider KARI. Funds raised at the raffle will help us furnish the home.

PIF House Orange is a 7-bedroom house in Orange owned by Marist180 that we will refurbish. Funds raised through the raffle will help us provide items like new carpet, new bathrooms, fencing and improved security and new electrical appliances like a Blue-Ray player and microwave.

Our great thanks to the Property Council of Australia for their phenomenal support today and throughout 2018.
