Tour de PIF: doing the hard yards for young homeless people nationally

All

The Foundation’s cycling event in three cities kicked off for 2018 with a very successful Tour de PIF Brisbane. In only its second year, Tour de PIF Brisbane, sponsored by Slattery, was a sell-out event with over 125 riders from the property and construction industry taking part to raise money and awareness for youth homelessness.

The 2018 event started and finished at Sirromet Winery and featured two course distances – 56km or the more challenging 72km.  Riders were treated to magnificent views of the picturesque Mt Cotton region and surrounds, as well as terrific on-course support with moto scouts, mobile mechanics, first aid vehicles and sweep cars supporting them throughout the ride.

The 72km course featured a King, Queen and Team of the Mountain challenge – where riders were challenged to attain the fastest time up the timed-climb section of the Mountain.

Tour de PIF Sydney Ride or Walk opened for registrations last month and people from across the industry have been registering for the event on 19 October to raise money for homeless young people. The event is sponsored by The GPT Group, Knight Frank, KPMG, Northrop, Taylor and WT.

There is something for everyone with three great rides and a beautiful walk to choose from with courses taking people through Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and, in the case of the long ride, to the NSW Central Coast.

There’s a gourmet lunch by the water’s edge at the end, a fantastic opportunity to network.

Register to ride  or walk.

Registrations are also now open for Tour de PIF Victoria. Join 200 Property Industry professionals at the brand new RACV Club Cape Schanck on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, for a Charity Cycling Day supporting homeless and at-risk young people in our community.

The date is set for Friday, 16 November, participants can enter as an individual or a team and select from two ride options, 56km or 78km.

Enjoy a morning of cycling and networking followed by a sit-down lunch.  Register for the Melbourne ride.
