The spirit of giving in full force at the Property Council of Australia Christmas lunches
December 2018 All
Over the past two weeks the Property Council of Australia has hosted the Property Industry Foundation at its Christmas lunches in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne – and helped us greatly in raising money for young people in real need. The Foundation’s raffle sales at the events raised a total of over 155,000 to fund important support services and help build homes for at-risk and homeless young people.
In Sydney, raffle sales raised $42,000 to contribute to two PIF Houses – PIF House Parkview and PIF House Orange.
In Brisbane, the lunch drew over 1,500 people with the raffle raising $52,750 for one of our Charity Partners, Act for Kids, to support speech therapists at their Ipswich facility.
In Melbourne, at the Crown Palladium Ballroom, from among the crowd of over 1,500 people, over $60,000 in raffle tickets were purchased! Proceeds will also go to Act for Kids.
In each city the raffle prize was a stay for two at the Hyatt Maldives. The prizes proved very poular at the events.
