PIF and RICS partner to drive positive change

PIF and RICS partner to drive positive change

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) works to deliver positive change in the built and natural environment, doing so in the public advantage. It makes sense then, that they have become a PIF donor to help us provide nurturing places to live for homeless youth.

A critical part of RICS’ mission in Australia is its work with others to pioneer better places to live and work, whilst being a force for positive social impact, meaning there is already a natural alignment between the two organisations.

This partnership provides both RICS and PIF with a fantastic opportunity to utilise the reach and resources of one another to drive positive change in our communities.

Chris Nicholl, Managing Director, RICS Australasia said the decision to partner with PIF was an obvious one, as the organisation admires the work PIF does in both highlighting and addressing youth homelessness.

“We welcome the opportunity to partner with PIF and help to break the cycle of youth homelessness and support the incredible work they do,” he said.

The partnership comes at an exciting time where they are settling in to a new, innovative work space in Australia’s premier commercial precinct in Barangaroo; complementing RICS’ growing presence in the building and construction sector.

Mr Nicholl said that the relocation to a thriving, agile and collaborative workspace will allow RICS to further its work as the leading professional standards and education body for the building and construction, valuation and real estate sectors.

“The move to our new premises at Barangaroo will enable an ability to further develop support for Chartered Surveyors and the broader industry, whilst providing more opportunities to influence and drive positive change in the built and natural environments,” he said.
