Milliken-Ontera lays out the red carpet for youth

PIF National donor Milliken-Onterra has generously provided high-quality carpet for the PIF House in Toongabbie (which opened this week) and the PIF House in Kingsford. Valued at over $4,000, the carpet will be an essential part of the great look and durability of the houses, while making the house a comfortable home for the young lives that will take residence.

Milliken-Ontera provided the Speed design in Ash Grey from its Exceed collection to the PIF House Toongabbie and the PIF House Kingsford respectively. The Exceed range is designed to impress and exceeds expectations. It’s constructed with Milliken-Ontera’s WellBAC™ open cell cushion as a standard which allows for a holistic environment that is quiet (due to its acoustics properties), under foot comfort, as well as promoting healthy indoor air quality.

Robert Mouawad, National Key Account Manager, Milliken-Ontera said contributing to both projects had connected the company to the concerning issue of youth homelessness. “It has been on eye opener to understand the nature and background of how some of these young lives have come from such unfortunate circumstances,” he said.

“Being involved in these transformational projects through supplying our carpet to both the Toongabbie and Kingsford houses will hopefully make a difference to young lives and their living environment. Milliken-Ontera as a company is grateful to be part of the experience in providing safer and comfortable homes for these young lives.

“Milliken-Ontera strives to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our commitment with PIF not only helps in contributing to building individual homes for homeless youth, but also engages with a broader and pro-active fundraising initiative through its product pathway – where a percentage of revenue of every specification from selected collections will be donated to PIF.”
