Macquarie expands its support for young people

We’re proud to announce that Macquarie Capital, an active participant in the Australian real estate sector, has become a PIF National Donor. It’s a great fit between our organisations.

Macquarie Capital Executive Director and Head of Real Estate ANZ, Antony Green, said Macquarie Group, through the Macquarie Group Foundation, focuses on supporting social and economic opportunities for young people in the communities where we live and operate.

“We know that homelessness or unstable housing poses significant barriers to accessing opportunity for young people and Macquarie supports a number of community organisations working in the area of youth disadvantage, including addressing homelessness,” he said.

“We recognise that youth homelessness is a significant issue and we welcome the opportunity to be part of the solution by providing our support to PIF.”

Macquarie Capital is looking forward to collaborating with PIF to make a real impact on the issue.

The donor relationship is a continuation of Macquarie’s long-standing support and commitment to PIF. Murray Coleman OAM, Head of Development Projects, Macquarie Capital, is on the PIF National Board of Directors and Macquarie was an early sponsor of the PIF Regatta on Sydney Harbour.
