Dymocks George Street takes it to the next level for disadvantaged youth

NSW

All the great books for disadvantaged young people just keep on coming. First, our Give It Up campaign this year raised over $6,000 to buy 600 books for Act for Kids treatment centres around the country. Dymocks Children's Charities gave us a 50% discount on all books - which meant we could buy more.

But the PIF–Dymocks team work has continued to deliver! The Dymocks George Street store in Sydney gave customers the option to round up their payments, with the extra money going to purchase books. In total, the store raised a phenomenal $10,000! With the 50% discount on books from Dymocks Children’s Charities, we were able to purchase $20,000 worth of books. The books will go to each PIF House we have built or will build between 2017-2021.

Shout out to Brooke and Anthony at the George Street store.
