The Property Industry Foundation’s 2024 Golf Day raised over $35,000 towards building projects for homeless youth in Victoria.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Property Industry Foundation Golf Day on 23 February. The event was a tee-rific start to the year, as we enjoyed a round of golf with supportive industry partners at the lovely Gisborne Golf Club in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges.

A huge thanks to our Event Partner, Design & Build Recruitment for making the day possible, Drinks Cart Sponsor Aliro Group for keeping players cool on the course, and Supporting Sponsor Architectus for continuing to support our mission. Congratulations to the team from Architectus for taking out first place in the 18-hole competition. Well played, team! The 119 guests in attendance helped raise over $35,000 to go towards Haven Projects in Victoria for at-risk youth in the area.

Projects like Haven House South East Melbourne and Shepparton are only possible through the continued support of caring industry members like yourself. These projects will provide 12 new safe spaces for Victoria’s most vulnerable and needy youth to rebuild their lives.

“Thank you to all our valued sponsors and supporters for joining us at beautiful Gisborne Golf Club for the 2024 Property Industry Foundation Golf Day,” said Victorian State Manager Priscilla Heathwood. “It was a fantastic event that raised over $35,000 for homeless youth. These funds go towards vital building projects like Haven House South-East Melbourne – an upgrade of a home for the Young Women’s Freedom Project, run by The Lighthouse Foundation. With the support of the property and construction industry, we are able to help provide safe and secure homes for vulnerable young people to thrive.”

“No young person should be without a home and wherever possible we should do what we can to support this,” added Blair Hickman, Design & Build’s State Manager VIC.
