Kalia Yacht Rally Tonga
The 2010 Rally in Tonga will be in June. Tonga is still almost  "undiscovered" and we have now discovered a simpler way to access this fantastic destination. The 60 islands of the Vava’u group create the perfect setting for a yacht rally. In 2010 we will offer catamarans and yachts for racing and/or cruising.

The easy pace of life in this South Pacific billabong will be your holiday tonic during a cruise that will add just a little racing to ten days of island style feasting, snorkelling, diving, fishing, sea kayaking and lazing around on pure white sand beaches….and the spontaneous humour of the locals will add enormously to your experience.  

The air temperature in June will be about 26°C; the water temperature about the same and the warm South-Easterly trade wind will waft gently at about 10 – 15 knots across the flat water of these 220 square miles of sailing nirvana. Humidity during June is at the lowest for the year. You’ll be lucky to see a wave because the barrier reef along the Eastern edge of the archipelago breaks the Pacific Ocean swells.
