About The Property Industry Foundation (PIF)

The Foundation commenced operations in 1996 and has grown steadily to become one of the Property Industry's pre-eminent charity initiatives.

The Property Industry Foundation is a non-profit registered charity, not aligned to any religious or political group, whose sole task is to unite all companies and associations in the property industry by providing a network and facility with the aim of helping ‘at risk’ young people.

The Foundation has raised over $2,000,000 and distributed funds to organisations that have been doing exceptional work with homeless and disadvantaged kids.

Late 1997 the Foundation built and donated to Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off The Streets, an 11-bedroom house at Canyonleigh.

Our 2000/2001 projects included the design and building of two ten-bedroom houses at Sutton Forest for Youth Off The Streets (YOTS), as well as a 6-bedroom home at West Nowra for the William Campbell College - amazing efforts through the generosity of our Corporate Donors and industry members.

We understand that there are 15,000 homeless children in Australia and up to 100,000 at risk. The future of many of these lonely, alienated and isolated children depends on the Property Industry Foundation. They are destitute and need our support.

Fundraising

The Foundation's major income is derived from Corporate Donors and supported by major fundraising activities:

Our corporate donors also enjoy invitations to their Bi-Monthly Restricted CEO Networking Forums hosted in the function rooms of our industry leaders.

Our Board Of Advisors comprises many prominent industry participants who are involved in and committed to the Foundation.
