The money raised will contribute to the refurbishment of the old Ashfield Arts School building for Exodus Foundation who, from the front-line, address crisis issues relating to family breakdown, drug & alcohol abuse, physical abuse and grief associated with young people at risk.
Exodus youth is a second chance education and training programme directed at early school leavers aged 15-19 who experience homelessness, abuse and/or other social dislocations. Exodus Youth provides young people with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to succeed in everyday life and gain employment.
The Exodus Foundation exists to meet the immediate material, emotional and spiritual needs of disadvantaged and marginalised people. We seek to empower young Australians through education and literacy and so protect them against the prospect of future unemployment and homelessness.
